McCain Frustration

I just watched the Sean Hannity - McCain/Palin interview. Seems that every time Sarah said something that went to the heart of the matter in her plain-spoken, folksy manner that simply answered the questions, John said "Can I say something else?" and then commenced to tell how Obama voted 94 times for this or said That when he really did something else.

Totally wonked out.

I am a self-admitted political crack head and I am sick of this $h!+. I can't stand it anymore. One cannot believe any statistics, anytime, let alone in a political campaign... especially the same statistics or figures repeated AD NAUSEUM until I have to hold my hand over my mouth to stave off the retching reflex every time I hear them.

Say what you want about Gov. Palin, she gets to the heart of the matter. Especially when she isn't speaking in that kindergarten teacher, sing-songy voice that she (and Tina Fey) do so well.

Totally refreshing.

But does she know how DC works? Does she have foreign policy experience? Does she have the financial gravitas to pull our huevos out of the monetary fire pit? How would we know????? But... tell me this: Who, of our current leaders, has a clue? What's that sound? Crickets chirping? I thought so...

Totally unbelievable.

These candidates are worn out. I think that Barack's calm demeanor is more exhaustion than it is his suave, controlled way. McCain has run out of one liners and is just repeating the 6 or 7 that he has memorized.

You know, if McCain is tired, all he has to do on Wednesday at the last debate is keep repeating the following list: Bill Ayers, ACORN, Rev. Wright, Father Pfleger, Michelle Obama, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, Chris Dodd, Barney Frank, Chuck Schumer, Chicago politics, several old Supreme Court judges, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac contributions, and Franklin Raines. Say it again and again (without statistics, voting record or dollars spent and received.) It may be trite, but what isn't? Remember, Obama is pretty much an empty suit. He cannot run the government by himself. He HAS to pick people to work with him and carry out his edicts. He will probably have both a majority House and a veto-proof Senate (you know you cannot depend on Republicans to stick together as a caucus, no matter the threat.) With the Congress in one pocket and a few new Supremes in the other and a boat load of liberal, left wing, neo-socialists pulling the levers of government, the future is almost out of his hands. He will just become the rubber-stamp to legitimize a run-away train of liberal government.

Totally frightening.
